Korean language – For beginners

 

Korean is invented in year 1433 by King ‘Seojong’

Korean language is one of the most systematic and scientific languages around the world.

 

Korean alphabet is modeled after the vocal organ (for consonants) and oriental philosophy (for vowels).

Let us take a deeper look on Korean alphabets and comprehend the mechanism of it.

 

Korean alphabet (called ‘Hangeul’ in Korean) consists of 26 letters and is divided into two categories: consonants and vowels.

 

[Consonant]

A consonant cannot produce sound itself, but ought to be combined with a vowel to be pronounced.

Consonants constitute with 14 letters:
