책이 상당히 잘 팔린다 -> The book has been selling quite well.

 

★read      읽히다; ~라고 쓰여 있다

온도계는 그늘에서 40도로 읽힌다 ->The thermometer is reading 40°C in the shade.

 

★say       ~라고 쓰여(되어) 있다

설명서에는 그것이 자리 잡게 하려면 네 시간 동안 놔두어야 한다고 쓰여 있다 -> The instructions say (that) we should leave it to set for four hours.

운행 안내판에는 뭐라고 써있니? -> What does the flight information board say?

 

★peel      벗겨지다

내 등이 벗겨지고 있다 -> My back is peeling

 

★cut       잘리다

날카로운 칼이 더 잘 든다 -> A sharp knife cuts better.

 

★wash     씻겨지다

그녀는 해변가에 서 있었고, 그리고 그녀의 지친 발 위로 물이 씻겨지고 있었다 -> She stood on the shore and let the water wash over her tired feet.

★clean     닦여지다
