해석 용법 예문

1. 너무 ~ 해서 ~할 수 없다

2. 너무 ~ 해서 ~하다.

1번 뜻은 다들 너무 잘 알지만

2번 뜻은 모르는 사람이 많더군요.

둘에 차이는 어떻게 구분하냐고요??

 둘 중에 적절히 해석되는 것으로 하면 돼요....;; (역시 예문을 보면서 확인)

그리고 긴 문장에서 잘 포착해 낼 수 있어야 해요!

★용법

'too 형용사 to 부정사' 

 She was too anxious about her boss to think about anything else.  이 문장은 

 ->>> She was very anxious about her boss. She could not think about anything else. 바뀔 수 있죠.

★예문

우선 간단한 문장으로 (oxford dictionary)

It's too late to do anything about it now.

He's far too young to go on his own.

It's too late to do anything about it now.

 (이것은) 너무 늦었다/ 어떤 것을 하기에 /이것에 대해 /지금 <- ( ~해서 ~하다)

그런데, 너무 늦어서/ 지금 이것에 대해 어떤 것을 할 수 없다 <- (너무 ~해서 ~할 수 없다)

 (별차이 없죠>?)

He's far too young to go on his own.

  그는 엄청 어려서/ 그 스스로 갈 수 없다 (‘너무 ~해서 ~할 수 없다’로만 해석이 되죠?>)

이제 좀 긴 문장으로 하면 (먼저 혼자 해석)

쉽게 외우는 방법은 없다. 여러 번 반복해서 습득하는 것이 최고다.

다만,

no가 나올 경우 as로 생각하고 more, less를 반대로 바꿈. more -> little,  less -> much

not 은 't'     생각하는 게 최선이다

 독해나 작문 영역에서 나올 수 있으니 대비해야 한다.

알고도 해석하기 힘든 문장들.

 소위 말하는 숙어적 표현들의 경우 알고도 해석이 잘 안되는 경우가 있다.

Cf) 숙어적 표현이라고 한 이유는 사실 숙어가 아니기 때문이다

그 이유는 숙어적 표현 사이에 부사가 첨가되거나 관계대명사로 바뀌어 눈에 잘 안 보이기 때문이다. 이렇게 안 보이면 해석이 매끄럽지 못해 버벅거린다. 아래의 예문은 그런 문장들인데, 여러 번 읽고 어떻게 바뀌고 어떻게 찾아야 되는지 학습.
